The residence is situated in a prime location, it is only five minutes to the famous Jemaa El Fna Place and two minutes to the Souks. From a remarkable chiselled copper door, surrounded with sculptured plasterwork, you come directly to the first floor of Ryad Zouina and its arched galleries. The five bedrooms of the Ryad, whose walls are covered with warm-shaded “Tadelakt”all have their own ensuite bathrooms with separate toilets. Each bathroom, built in “Zelliges” tiles from Fès, is harmoniously decorated with handcrafted basins and taps. The large living-room seems like an artist studio with its wide glass windowpanes opening onto a central courtyard of lush greenery. Furnishings and decor are resolutely Moorish in style : low tables sculptured in cedar wood, sofas covered with shimmering hand-worked fabrics, brown “Tadelakt” walls topped with sculptured plasterworks and adorned with oriental paintings.
